You know the drill, ladies. You get invited to a party and you start the mental rundown on the perfect outfit, the shoes to go with it and the bag to top it all off. Not one to miss an opportunity for an hour of alone time, my party prep also (ideally) includes a manicure to complement, and around the holidays especially, I like to add a little pizzazz to the digits to keep things interesting.
Here’s a great little list of some tried and true knockout colors (no painted on Candy Canes or Santa Hats, I promise), as well as some creative ways to announce to the world that your nails have arrived! I mean let’s face it, you can’t hold a cocktail without your hands so they may as well look pretty, right!? Plus, with three kids and two dogs running around, that hour of getting someone to paint my nails for me is just about the only hour of quiet I get each week so it’s a win all around!
